Art Work for my final piece

Over the past couple of weeks, I have been preparing for my art exam which falls under the theme of 'Force'.
Take a look at some of my preparatory work including my final piece which is only half done as I am currently in the middle of completing it.

This is my first media test which portrays a grey scale flower (from a charm bracelet shown below) and it is made from white emulsion and flour combined.
I made a paste which I then put on to a small canvas and shaped into the flower I wanted.
When it dried, I used a variety of greys to complete this 3D charm.
I chose to do the background 'dirty-pink' because it compliments the grey in the main painting.
However, I didn't use this technique in my exam as it took too long to dry (24 hours) and I only had a limited amount of time (10 hours).
This is my second media test which will be found in my final piece.
The painting shows 2 charms from a charm bracelet and has been painted with accurate detail.
I really like this technique rather than the 3D technique mentioned before.
This is my current final piece, it is only half completed as it is in the process of being finished.
So far, I like how it is going but my main worry is adding in the shadowing at the end.

I will keep you updated when I have completed the entire painting.
