This women has such a powerful voice. I especially liked the Off the cuff version as it really defines Faith's voice! She is a beautiful woman too.

Vintage can be brought back to life...just you wait!
What is the first thing that pops into your head when you think of 'Vintage'.
For me, it is authentic second hand clothing. As a fashion student, I like a bit of bargain hunting in second hand shops and I come across some bizarre yet extraordinary garments, but this post isn't about what I find, it is primarily about whether or not vintage clothing has another chance in the market.
Yes you get the odd designer, like Dior, who try to recreate the past but it just isn't the same. As I look around high street shops, I see all the same designs, shapes and colours and to be honest, it's pretty boring.
What I want to see in the market are garments such as 'Vintage Swing Coats'
and...

This shows the timeline of different style vintage dresses from 1934 to 1961. This image shows how different each dress is from beginning to end and how beautiful and well detailed each garment is.

Behind Closed Doors...
I have always wondered where designer clothes have been made - obviously, I go with what the label tells me, for example 'Prada' - successful designer who creates clothes, shoes, bags and many more luxurious goods. But what fascinated me mostly was why it was never mentioned on websites such as Wikipedia - which is the scoop for anything, so I took the liberty of doing my own research and what I found amazed me and shocked me at the same time.
It turns out that Prada goods are 'Made in Italy' but in Prato - a small village in Italy thriving with a Chinese population. These goods are made in sweatshops - just like leading high-street brands, Primark and Nike. And whats worse is that the majority of the workers aren't even Italian, some of them are illegal immigrants working in poor conditions with (if they are lucky) a pay of $2 (about £1.20) who are later deported.
I find that it is very unfair how 'Prada' receive hundreds of pounds for something that was made for £1.20...
This Prada tote was selling for £1,470,00 then later reduced to £950.00.
Behind closed doors, this glamorous and superb Tote was made for £1.20 --> I think that anyone who works as a creator for a designer company should earn at least half of what the bag is sold for otherwise, you may as well just shop in Primark where the prices are much more reasonable and don't charge you a fortune for something that is made in the same conditions as designer brands.
Not everything about designer clothing is glamorous, behind the scenes is the place to look because those workers have designer talent!
This little video explains my findings.

Looking for something BOLD...
After many months of deciding whether or not I should do a Make-Up shoot and blog about it, I have finally made up my mind and chose dedicate this post to just MAKE-UP (primarily because it has something I've always wanted to do since I first got Blogger!)
I was inspired by a Dior lipstick advert that I saw in Company magazine so I thought I'd give it a try.
